What to Do When Your SSD Causes Boot Problems After a Power Loss

How can I fix or recover data from a non-boot SSD that is causing boot issues after a power outage?
I have a PC with the following specifications:
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D
MOBO: MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
Boot drive: Kingston KC3000 NVME 1TB
Problem drive: Samsung 870 EVO 2TB
GPU: AMD Radeon 6750XT
The problem drive is a secondary SSD that is connected via SATA cable. After a power outage, the PC would take 10 minutes to scan and repair the problem drive before reaching the start screen. However, after logging in, I would only see a black screen with a cursor and no keyboard commands would work. The problem drive would not show up in the BIOS either. I tried doing a power cycle but it did not help. The only way to boot the PC normally was to disconnect the problem drive.
I
want to know if there is any way to restore the problem drive to its previous state or at least recover the data from it. I cannot boot into safe mode while the drive is connected, so I cannot run any manual repairs. I can only access the BIOS. Is there any solution for this issue?
